ABOUT THE DIRECTORS
Peter has 30 years of experience in working within the construction industry. He is a qualified Electrical design engineer with key experience in the design and commissioning of electrical, security, fire and safety systems.
Peter is a people person and a skilled negotiator, skills which are greatly used in his role at WDL. Peter has worked extensively with international clients in the in the Middle East, Far East and North America. Peter’s extensive experience has included projects on behalf of Arsenal Football Club, London Stock Exchange; various Local Authorities and ACE Insurance Group.
As an ex-professional football player, Peter has maintained his sporting contacts and working closely with selected partners, has assisted in the design development of the “Destination Soccer” concept.
Peter’s was also engaged as part of an international team developing concepts for modular construction and has vast experience in the application of these technologies in modern buildings.
Dennis is a Chartered Engineer, a member of the Institution of Engineering & Technology and a member of the Chartered institution of Building Services Engineers, with over 30 years of experience in the design, management, supervision and installation of major projects for the residential, retail, health care and commercial sectors.
Dennis has managed projects on behalf of major commercial, retail and NHS clients such as British Land, Prudential, Asda (Walmart), Morgan Stanley, St Martins Properties, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, Accore Hotels and Travel Lodge. In addition to this Dennis has performed specialist consultancy roles in the private and public sector including the Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG).
Peter and Dennis were recently engaged in projects across Africa and the Middle East, including Housing Developments at Little City in Abuja, Nigeria; Libreville in Gabon and Lambak Kanan in Brunei. Leading the management team, they were responsible for appointing and managing all the relevant professional disciplines, setting the development goals, completing development appraisals, funding proposals, SPV business plans and exit strategies.
It was here, they demonstrated that their complementary skills, personalities and attention to detail, gave rise to a winning formula.
